Hail!

So last night we had a major hail storm. It came out of nowhere, and not at very good timing. We are getting our roof redone, so we have half the shingles off and just tarps up there. Thankfully we didn't get any water damage, and so far the they haven't found any damaged shingles. My car got a few dings on it, not surprising considering the size of the hail and the amount we got.


That's Nick holding one of the bigger pieces of the hail. He was crazy and running around the front yard picking up pieces of it. Probably not smart because the storm was still right over head with lightning hitting pretty close. But now we have hail pieces in our freezer...not too many people can say that haha ;)

New blog

So I caved in and started a blog. Having extra time, it will be nice to share what is going on. Still trying to get all the kinks worked out but it's going good so far.
